CHILD CARE (With Preschool Integrated)
With so many demands on today’s families, parents need all the support they can get! That’s why child care at the Y is about more than looking after kids. It’s about nurturing their development by providing a safe place for them to learn the foundational skills of Early Childhood Education, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance throughout the Y’s core values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith. We teach this to the children through day to day experiences, activities, and lessons. Our staff serves as positive role models and provides care that is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child’s needs. Our open door policy allows parents the freedom to know what their children are doing at all times during the day.
Our program lays the ground work for successful elementary school years and beyond through an engaging curriculum called the Y’s Way to the Creative Curriculum. This curriculum also aligns with the new Ohio Early Learning and Development Standard and includes the following Core Content Areas:
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Arts
- Technology
- Healthy Habits (YMCA Specific)
- Social, Moral, and Spiritual Development (YMCA Specific)

MONDAY-FRIDAY 7:00 am- 5:30 pm Year-Round Program
Fee: Member $145.00 per week
Non-member $245.00 per week
PART TIME: 24.9 hours or less a week
