Financial Assistance – Membership For All

uw logo

The YMCA of Mount Vernon believes in providing membership and program services to all who desire to participate.  The YMCA's Membership for All, supported in part by the United Way of Knox County, uses all available resources to provide support to those who have financial need and qualify for assistance. We offer services for youth, adults and families who desire to participate regardless of their ability to pay the established membership or program fee. Those unable to pay the full amount may receive financial assistance.

Anyone may apply for the Membership for All. Approvals are made on an individual basis and based on a sliding- fee scale with total household income and number of dependents taken in consideration. Family, one parent family, senior, young adult and youth memberships are available.  Children 18 and over must be in college to be included in a family membership.

Upon approval, a YMCA representative will send a letter of the conditions of the Membership For All to you. Those conditions include the length of your scholarship, your commitment to pay the amount alloted to you, and the activation of your award letter within 30 days.  Once the application and all required documents are received, the review process will take between 7-10 days.

To apply for a membership for all please click the link below and fill out the online application. In order to process Membership for All you must provide all required documentation.
