What can you do?

These are difficult times and many people are in need - NOW. All of us want things to get better, for our family and friends and in our community. We want to help those in need.

Help Just One Child

The YMCA of Mount Vernon is the largest provider of child care in our community. We serve over 3,000 children annually in preschool and child care locations. Because we provide this care, parents can work or search for employment AND their children can feel safe and learn, because they have someone who cares for and about them.

Help Just One Adult

We are the champions for adults, veterans and other at-risk persons.

The economy continues to challenge our community - and men and women who are "on the verge" of becoming homeless turn to us for help.

Help Just One Family

There are literally thousands of family stories - all encouraged and supported in their time of need, because inability to pay is not a barrier to our services. The mission of the YMCA is not in recession.

The YMCA has always been and will always be about strengthening the ENTIRE family. All are welcomed.

Can You Help? Please Give

The YMCA of Mount Vernon has always provided as much help for our community as possible.

We provide child care for infants and children, equipment for those with challenges so they can stay mobile, diabetes programs for prevention and management, and nearly 100 other programs and services to provide a better quality of life for central Ohioans.

But the call for assistance keeps growing, and we need your help to continue to answer the call.

We know that these are difficult times for everybody, but we also know that giving is a part of the heritage of Mount Vernon - even in the hardest economic conditions there are still a lot of giving hearts that want to help their neighbors.

When you give to the YMCA of Mount Vernon, your gift will go directly to help one - ONE CHILD, ONE ADULT OR ONE FAMILY.

Please make the choice today to HELP JUST ONE.

All gifts are tax deductible.
