SILVER SNEAKERS – AEROBICS & YOGA

Silver Sneakers ProgramThis program is designed to provide a fun and challenging way for you to continue the lifelong journey of holistic health. The classes are personalized to address multiple fitness levels and differences in health needs. Chairs and a variety of equipment will be used for some of the exercises and will be available to you as necessary to work towards improved strength and endurance. If you use a wheelchair,
you will find this program adaptable to your specific needs.

Non Members: $5/class
Class Punch card: $40/10 classes

BUTT & GUT

A 30-40 minute hard core ab and glute class. Utilizing all of the abdominal and glute muscles with everything from sit ups to synergistics, squats, squeezes, tilts and tucks.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Alternating stations of cardio and strength training allow you to get a total body workout and work at your own level.

CORE

30 minutes of intense core exercises. Concentrating on abdominal and back work to help with core strength and stability.

INDOOR CYCLING

A 45 minute challenge for the body. Enhance your cardiovascular system and define your body through aerobic and anaerobic rides.

KICKBOXING

A fun workout combining non-impact kickboxing elements such as blocks, jabs, and kicks in heart pumping cardio combinations. Strength training will also be added to this class to give you that total body workout, allowing you to burn fat and calories and tone muscles.

STRENGTH AND BALANCE

A 45-50 minute class formatted similar to a circuit class and is a total body workout. Strength training all major muscles while working on enhancing balance. Using yoga poses, plyometrics and core synergestics to enhance strength and balance.

TAI CHI

This ancient discipline is practiced world wide. Originally part of the martial arts, it’s slow “gentle force” movements form a healing pattern with well documented health benefits. Appropriate for all ages.

TOTAL BODY

(Body Blast, Total Conditioning, Total Body Resistance)

A 45 minute total body workout combining cardio and strength training. Total Body will get your heart rate up and help you burn fat and calories.

ZUMBA

A latin inspired aerobics class that tricks you into working out! The structure of the class is based on the interval training theory; work heavy, then light, than heavy, then light. The foundation for Zumba is to have fun! Getting fit and healthy is a side effect.

    SPLASH

    A moderate cardio workout in the water which will help strengthen your heart and muscles, as well as, define and improve physical endurance. This is a great way to increase resistance with low impact on joints.

    AQUA FIT

    A moderate to high cardio workout in the water which will increase your heart rate, and strengthen your muscles, utilizing the water as a resistor in order to define and improve physical endurance.

    FLUID STRENGTH

    A moderate to high cardio workout in the water. This is a deep water aerobic workout utilizing the water as a resistor to strengthen your heart, muscles and improve physical endurance.
